He was predeceased by: his parents, Ronald West and Ruth West (Swanson); and his siblings, Oley, Ronald "Budge", John, Theodore West, Doris, Marilyn and Lois May.
He is survived by: his wife Donna C. Fox; his children, Bruce T. West of Kewanee, Joleen A. West (John Eckler) of St. Charles and Doug T. West (Eileen Vavricek) of Chicago, Illinois; his grandsons, Jeremy Burright of Woodstock and Joseph "J. D."; and his great grandchildren, Ayden West and Nikoli West.
