He was predeceased by: his parents, Estie Brown and Veda Brown; and his siblings, Gordon "Mike" of London Mills, Robert of Canton, Margaret Drinkwater of Banner, Caryl Dare of Canton and Patricia Oltman of Pekin.
He is survived by: his wife Hazel Brown (Rippy); his children, Staci Cecil (Kyle) of Maquon and Layne Brown (Becky) of Sunriver, OR; his grandchildren, Hannah Godsil (Steven) of Peoria and Kenneth Cecil of Abingdon; his great grandchildren, Ainsley and Luke Godsil; and his siblings, Phil (Neva) of Maquon, Earle of London Mills, Sharon Ownley of Valrico, FL, Karen Fillingham of Canton, Nancy Rader (Randy) of Springfield and Judy McGann (James) of Canton.
