He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Overcash and Mabel Overcash (Shumaker); his parents-in-law, Forest, Sarah Way (Thurman) and Harry; his sister-in-law Francis Overcash (Ulm); his son-in-law Bill Starr; and his close friend Shelby.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Way; and his children, Steve Overcash (Bella), Claudia Starr, Dean Overcash (Janice), Lloyd Overcash (Patti) and Susan Smith (Dave).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the London Mills United Methodist Church Stained Glass Window Fund or the Spoon River Valley Music Department and left in the care of the funeral home.
