He was predeceased by: his father Alvin Simantel; his children, Denise Adams and William "Bill" Jr.; his brothers, Milton and Alvin Simantel; and his sisters-in-law, Joy Simantel and Jan Oshel (Greta Adams).
He is survived by: his children, Scott (Valerie), Stacey Crockatt (Paul) and Misty Kosik (Mike); his children-in-law, John Adams and Tricia Flint; his grandchildren, Jason Adams (Shannon), Jeff Adams, Jeremy Adams (Autumn), Emily Yovkovich (Mike), Zack Simantel (Jen), Bailey Simantel (Sam), Joshua Crockatt (Lisa), Jessica Stevens (Casey), Jacob Witt, Kyle Witt (Lindsaye), Brittany Matyas (Richard) and Michael Kosik, Jr. (Emily); his brothers, Jim Simantel (Lin) and Doug Oshel (Christine); and his sister-in-law Janie Simantel. He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren.
