He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Williams (Alberta Williams) and Sophia Williams; his grandmothers, Serena Collor of Grosse Tete and Mary Blanchard of Plaquemine, Louisiana.; and his siblings, Edward, Lawrence Jr., Barbara and Henry Williams.
He is survived by: his wife Helen; his children, Nicole Whitaker (Bernard) and Walter Williams Jr. (Shereece); his grandchildren, Tasharra, Dylan, Anthony, Dajion, Mikayla, Malik and Tyshon; and his siblings, Mary Williams, Patricia Williams, Debra Ross (Adolph) and Harold Williams Shea. He is also survived by nieces, great nieces, nephews, great nephews, friends.
