He was predeceased by: his wife Judith. He is survived by: his children, Carl Bjerga (Laura), Erling Bjerga (Linda), Kurt Bjerga (Sheri), Erik Bjerga (Laura) and Harald Bjerga (Kim); and his siblings, Norval Bjerga and Marton Bjerga (Gerd) of Norway. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
