She was predeceased by: her parents, Olga Mattioli and Diamante Mattioli; her husband Ted Prus; and her siblings, Angela Havel and David Mattioli.
She is survived by: her children, Dinahlee Reading (Glen), Avis Prus, Ralph Prus and Elaine Speidel (Rory); her grandchildren, Eric, Dennis Reading, Roxanne Pathavong (Jack) and Rose Hall (Jeremy); her great grandchildren, Kayla, Raya Reading and Wesley Hall; and her sister Elisa Grillo, Sr.. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
