He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy Kemph; his children, Richard C. Kemph and Rhonda C. Kemph; his parents, Courtney and Florentine; his siblings, Courtney Kemph (Dorothy) and Alberta Jacobson (Beryl); and his partner Winston.
He is survived by: his children, Robert C. Kemph Jr. (Joan Schouten) and Renee K. McKinley (Edward); his grandchildren, Amy Mathison (Mike), Kathleen Kemph, Austin J. McKinley and Devin M. McKinley; and his great grandchildren, Natalie S. Mathison and Eva Mathison.
