He was predeceased by: his wife Karen S. Behrendt; and his siblings, Joe and Joan. He is survived by: his children, David Behrendt (Karin), Donna Schofield (Charles) and Mark Behrendt (Jodi); his grandchildren, Isabel Sittig (Billy), Molly, Trevor, Hanna Behrendt, Madeline, Jack, Samantha Schofield, Tyler (Emily) and Jacob Behrendt; his great grandchildren, Hailey and Emma; and his siblings, Loretta, Geri, Theresa "Cookie" and Tom. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
