He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Tina; his son Chris; his parents, Leslie "Bud" and Grace Sharp; and his siblings, Jim, Roy, Mickey, Linda, Kathy, Joy, Michael and Florence.

In lieu of flowers, Rich would have preferred to have donations made to Harvard Avenue Evangelical Free Church, Attn: Youth Ministries, 206 W. St. Charles Rd., Villa Park, IL 60181.
