He was predeceased by: his son Allan Hughes (Beverly); his parents, Lillian Hughes and Raymond Hughes Sr.; his grandchild Lauren Cockrell; and his siblings, Leonard Hughes, Sister Janet Hughes and Robert Hughes.
He is survived by: his children, Pamela Carnahan, Charles Hughes (Kimberly) and Gary Hughes (Cindy); his grandchildren, Brian Carnahan (Lisa), Mike Carnahan (Lori), Kevin Carnahan (Allison), Matthew Carnahan (Kathleen), Ryan Hughes (Meghan), Daniel Hughes, Timothy Hughes, Sean Hughes (Elizabeth) and Katie Cockrell (Kevin); and his siblings, Gerald Hughes, Lenore Funk and Mike Hughes. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
