She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilfred Griesbaum and Mary Griesbaum; and her son-in-law Scott Sabres. She is survived by: her spouse Ronald F. Knecht; her children, Karen Knecht Lorch (Al), Karl Knecht (Maria), Lisa Knecht-Sabres (Scott) and Laurie Knecht; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Lorch, Alyssa Lorch Lu (Scotty), Jeffrey Lorch, Megan Lorch, Stephen Knecht, Kevin Sabres and Cory Knecht; and her sibling Robert Griesbaum (Michon).

“mom I am so sorry you had a son that would never visit except to drop off flowers on mothers day only to run off to the in law you called polish princess. I am sorry your other daughters were not really a part of your life as well. Cory and I are blessed to have had a loving mother and grandmother . We were lucky to spend so much time with you and even though you probably needed a break from us you never let it show and always welcomed us in your home and were very generous . we miss you so !”
