He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Sheila Elberts; his children, Sara Lock (Adam), Mike Elberts (Rachel) and Kevin Elberts (Jenna); his grandchildren, Alex and Sloane; and his brothers, Paul (Tricia) and Steve Elberts (Lori). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Heart Association are appreciated.
