He was predeceased by: his parent Mrs Frank Taylor; his brother Ronald Taylor; and his daughter Christiana. He is survived by: his wife Ruth; his children, Derek Taylor (Deneen) of Holly Springs, NC, Angela Wolthuis (Eric) of Phnom Penh, Nathaniel Taylor (Marci) and Elizabeth Sather (Carl) of Champaign, IL.; his siblings, Byron Osthoff (Betty), Janice Payne of Springdale, AR and Terry Taylor of Avalon, WI.; and his grandchildren, Gabriel, Elijah, Joelle, Colson, Molly, Aubrey, Pierson, Reed, Hannah, Joshua and Gracie.

He volunteered to lead a weekend long "Trauma Egg" exercise group therapy session, which I heard about through mutual friends. That experience was life altering for me in the best ways. The wealth of his accumulated insight was like gold that he was practically giving away. I am grateful for his generosity.”
