I originally met Joe in 1968, when we were Peace Corps Volunteers in Liberia, West Africa; specifically Maryland County.. Joe taught mathematics.. Joe and I traveled together in both West & East Africa. Joe was my best man when I wed. Joe had an infectious personality - very much like his parents; he also was a caring person!
