He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Mary Anne Nielsen; his children, Diane Schroeder (Carl), Paul Nielsen (Beth) and Sharon Andresen (late Richard); his grandchildren, Kari Nimon (Fred), Jon Nielsen (Simona), Ryan Nielsen (Liz), Michael Schroeder (Katie), Liz Schroeder, Paul Schroeder (Jenell) and Rebekah DiVenere (Ralph); his great grandchildren, Richie, Joseph, Nadia, Jordan, Penny, Jillian, Molly, Beau, Max, Greyson, Madelyn, Ralph, Micala and Giovanna; and his brother Fred Nielsen (Eileen). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
