With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan Ferrara of Lombard, Illinois, who passed away on December 9, 2020 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Dominic Ferrara; her children, Karen Ziganto (James), Stephen Ferrara (Diana), Diane Kowalczyk (Mark) and Susan Sheehan (John); her grandchildren, Dana Beatty (Miles), Jené, Danielle Ziganto, Michael (Lenka), Kathryn, Annelise Ferrara, Matthew, Zachary, Nicole Kowalczyk, Luke, Kyle and Alexa Sheehan; her great grandchildren, Miles, Macallan, Leo Beatty and Dominic Ferrara; and her siblings, Louis Salvitti (Dulcenia), Lorraine Kornblith and Nicoletta Salvitti. She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, services and interment will be private.
