She is survived by: her sister Aline Dumas (Laurette Tardif); and her stepchildren, Janet Pierce Jaramilla, Arlene Rasmussen (Richard), Patricia Pierce, Byron J. Pierce (Joan), Gerald Pierce (Tricia) and Thomas Pierce (Ely). She is also survived by children of her own, but she helped mother many of the children around her and the children.
