With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James J. Placzek of Lombard, Illinois, who passed away on July 16, 2022 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Kathleen Placzek; his sons, Jason Placzek (Carrie), Justin Placzek, Jeremy Placzek (Katrina) and Jonathan Placzek-Elarde; his grandchildren, Charlie, Joseph, Cameron, Lily, Parker, Isabella, Savannah, Dallas and Brooklyn Placzek; his siblings, Joanne Hupke (Alan) and Daniel Placzek; and his siblings-in-law, Patricia Kanna, Eugene Rieth (Barbara) and Virginia Rieth. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
