He was predeceased by: his parents, Ventura Herrero and Marcella Herrero (Jakstas); his wife Ruth (Mayer); his siblings, Ventura Jr. (Margaret), Robert (Marian), Edna Mae (Harold Gurgone) and Mary Ellen (Chester Coleman); his brother-in-law Mitchell Latka; his grandson Matthew; and his great grandchildren, Aurora and Cali.

He is survived by: his sister Lorraine; and his children, Christine, Barbara (Ellen), James Jr. (Deborah), Mitchell (Sharon) and Andrew (Meredith). He is also survived by his family and friends.

He worked diligently and made significant contributions to the company throughout his years of service, winning many awards and honors.
