He was predeceased by: his spouse Marion Buchholz; his children, Lori Elaine Buchholz and Mark Allen Buchholz; and his siblings, Adele Bluder and Kenneth Buchholz.
He is survived by: his children, Jean Rockemann (Larry), Beth Kautz (Allen), Allen Buchholz (Margaret) and Jan Johnson (Jay); his grandchildren, Joel Rockemann (Ingrid), Leah Moore (Rick), Timothy Kautz (Julia), Mark Kautz (Abbie), Kristin Schulz (John), Catherine Buchholz, William Buchholz, Shelby Robbins (Alec), James, Martin and Kallie Johnson; and his sibling Delayne Thake. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Trinity Lutheran Church, are appreciated.
