With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gus Karantzis (Lombard, Illinois), who passed away on October 25, 2019. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife RoseMarie Karantzis; his daughters, Deborah Duey (Darryl) of Villa Park, Patricia Crawford (Dan) of Villa Park and Berta Karantzis of Lombard; his grandchildren, Jonathon Crawford (Megan) of Indianapolis, Mackenzie Crawford, Grady Crawford, Caysie Buttrey (Adam) of Tennessee, Cara White (Samson) of Florida and Carly Duey of Tennessee; and his great grandchildren, Judea, Lilah and Jonah.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Memorial Fund at Holy Transfiguration Orthodox Christian Church are appreciated.

“It is with a heavy heart that i write this message. Gus was so loved by his family. He was, and is, also loved by me. Over the almost 40 years that i have had the pleasure of being in his and his lovely bride's life, they have made me feel as if i was part of their family. Words can be so limiting... God i do believe, will receive gus into his arms and make him welcome in the kingdom of our lord and savior. God bless gus, rosemarie, and the entire family. Love to you all, ron barton”
