She was predeceased by: her husband Raymond Tazelaar; her stepsons, Pete Tazelaar (late Grace) and Tom Tazelaar (Ruth); and her siblings, Simon Boeringa, Jennie Rocco (Peter) and John Boeringa, Jr. (Bernice).
She is survived by: her children, Robert Kooima (Patricia), Barbara Vander Meulen (David), Arlene Wezeman (Martin), George Kooima (Deanne), James Kooima (Laura) and Carol Verlare; her stepchildren, Jan Commanda (Joe), Beth Cunningham (Larry), Karen Folkerts (George), Jim Tazelaar (Jo), John Tazelaar (Cindy) and Rob Tazelaar (Laura); and her sister Florence "Duck" Davids (late John). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In accordance with state regulations, all visitors are required to wear a face mask while inside the building and maintain social distance.
