He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Harriet; his children, Dawn Allen (James Howard), Carla Engel (Mark) and Jeffrey Boerman; his grandchildren, James, Jenna, Jessica Allen, Cory Engel (Anna) and Bailey Engel (Lindsay); his great grandchildren, Danitti, Violet and Lane; and his brothers, Harry Boerman (Alida) and James Boerman (late Lilian). He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
