Galina Botjanowski Obituary
Galina Schulz née Botjanowski, age 92, long time resident of Lombard, Illinois passed away on May 1st in Elmhurst Hospital, Elmhurst, Illinois. The Memorial Service will be held Thursday, May 4 and will be private. Galina is survived by her loving children Marie (Kenneth) Rogers of Oak Lawn, Illinois, Edward (Judy Buckley) Schulz, of Coto de Caza, Ca.
Her oldest son, Walter Schulz and her grandson Alexander Schulz preceded her in death. She is survived by her daughter-in-law Alina Brown of Brookfield, Wi., her beloved grandchildren, Julia (Michael) Goglia, Albert Schulz, Matthew Schulz, Dr. Gina Rogers, Martin Rogers, and many dear nieces and nephews residing in the USA, Germany, Russia and The Ukraine.
Born on October 4, in Minsk Belarus she married Albert Schulz in 1943. They celebrated 50 years of marriage before Albert's death. Galina was educated as an engineer, and worked for and retired from Rock-Ola Juke box Mfg. Co., in Chicago and later in Addison, Illinois. After retirement Galina enjoyed travel and often visited her children and grandchildren in Wisconsin, Connecticut, and later in California, her relatives in Europe as well.
In her later years she especially enjoyed spending time at her daughter's Summer home on Fox Lake, Illinois. She loved Lombard, her home, and especially her friendship with her many wonderful neighbors.
