He was predeceased by: his wife Sarah Monreal; his sons, Christopher Monreal and Steven Monreal; and his siblings-in-law, Alphonse Salazar and Mary Salazar.
He is survived by: his children, Sylvia Murillo (late Ralph), David Monreal (Deborah), Mary Grace Monreal, Patricia Voissem (Mark), Monica Monreal (late Andrew Zavala) and Michael Monreal; and his sister-in-law Maria Mora.
