Eugenia Bronislawa (Majewska) Chomiczewski Obituary
Eugenia Chomiczewski (Majewska), age 87, of Lombard, IL passed away peacefully on Wednesday May 4, 2022. Eugenia was born February 16, 1935 in Wlodawa Poland. The daughter of Stanislaw and Antonina Majewski (Buczko), Eugenia married John Chomiczewski on July 7, 1957. Eugenia came to the USA in 1957 and became a mother in 1959.
Eugenia worked at W.F. Hall Printing Company in Chicago for many years, but relished the time spent with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Eugenia also loved to garden, take long walks, cook, bible study and spreading the word of God. Surviving are five sons, Zbigniew of Lombard, IL; Michael of Lombard, IL ; Mark and Chanthima Chomiczewski of Allendale, MI; Joseph of Thompson Station, TN; Andrew and Shannon Chomiczewski of Lutz, FL; Eugenia is preceded in death by her husband and parents; sister Zosia and brother Jurek.
A funeral mass will be held on Monday, May 9th 2022 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St Pius X Catholic Church (1025 East Madison Street, Lombard, Illinois 60148). A burial will be held on Monday, May 9th 2022 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery & Mausoleums (1400 South Wolf Road, Hillside, Illinois 60162).
