He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Eleanore "Ellie" Pett; his children, Nina Tamm (Jeff), Ernest Jr. "J. R." Pett (Donna) and Ken Pett (Kim Kielczynski); his daughter-in-law Lori Nixon Pett; his grandchildren, Brianna Tamm, Devon Tamm, Lauren Tamm, Jeffrey Pett (Brenda) and Lois Pett; and his brothers, Frank Petkunas and Casimir "Chuck" Petkunas. He was also cherished by three children who blessed them with 5 grandchildren.
