He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Evelyn Johnson; his children, Lynette Kmiecik (Mark), Debbie Slager (Don), Eric Johnson (Nancy) and Cindy Speelman (Rick); his grandchildren, Steven, Kathryn Kmiecik, Michael (Julie), Jennifer Speelman, Rachel De Boer (Brendon), Hannah (Matt Meyrick) and Jacob Slager; and his great grandchildren, Eva, Collin and Jack Speelman.
