She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Bode and Anna Bode; and her husband Harold. She is survived by: her birth mother Theola Zitterow; her cousin Charles Zitterow; her sons, Thomas Dudgeon (Britt) and Jerry Dudgeon (Valerie); and her grandchildren, Elizabeth Dudgeon, Grant Dudgeon (Karin Lichtenberger), Amanda Dudgeon and Carl Dudgeon.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in Betty's name to Trinity Lutheran Church, Lombard, Illinois.
