It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernice Hamstra of Lombard, Illinois, who passed away on May 26, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husbands, Samuel E. Hamstra and John Boeringa; and her siblings, Margaret Euwema and Harold Post. She is survived by: her friend James Achilles; her children, Rev. Sam Jr. Hamstra (Debbie), Don Hamstra (Joyce), Marcia Bolt Jr. (Peter), Dan Hamstra (late Lynn) and Julie Schrader (Dean); and her siblings, Neil Post and Beverly Marcus.
