He was predeceased by: his father Benjamin Pennisi. He is survived by: his mother Audra Pennisi; his wife Angela; his sons, Benjamin J., Robert (Barbara Ann) and Samuel; his grandchildren, Luke, Henry and Isabella; his sisters, Linda Ruscitti (Tullio) and Bennetta Kelly (Patrick); and his sisters-in-law, Irene Miroballi (late Robert) and Kristina Knight (Kenneth). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
