It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Max Cunningham of Lomax, Illinois, who passed away at the age of 83, on October 31, 2023. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Kemper Cunningham and Olka Cunningham (Tharpp); and his sister Carol Kurth. He is survived by: his wife Carol Hartman Gapen; his children, Theresa Middleton (Tammy Hayburn) of Monmouth and Rod Cunningham (Patty) of Coal Valley, Illinois; and his sister Paula Cunningham of West Burlington. He is also survived by two grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren.

A memorial fund has been established for the LaHarpe American Legion.
