She is survived by: her husband Willis "Bud" Dowell; her sisters, Darlene Shriver and Sharon Scanlan (Harry); her sister-in-law Helen Reid; her children, Linda (Bill Merschbrock) of Fort Madison, Sarah Rashid of Fort Madison, William Dowell (Lori) of Burlington and Kelly Dowell (Nancy) of Fairhope, Alabama; and her sister-in-law Penny Monroe (Chad). She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter.
