She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Morton and Myrtle Morton (Madsen); and her siblings, Peggy, Marlene, Sanford, Mort and Dallas.

She is survived by: her children, Dallas Tate of LaHarpe and Loretta Pence (Chad) of Lomax; her grandchildren, Frances, Kyle, Dana, Alyssa and Jessica; and her sister Dixie. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
