He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter H. and Grace Scott (Nixon); his wife Betty Scott; his siblings, Vance Scott, Marjorie Workman, Mary Jean Webster and Dorothy Wilson; his granddaughter Crystal Carter; and his great grandchild Halley Horn.
He is survived by: his children, Carolyn Thompson (Roger) of Sciota, Annette Tucker (Clinton) of Fort Madison, Janet Gregory (Mike) of Donnellson, Robin Doty (Tom) of Dixon, Yvonne Tucker (Tom) of Fort Madison, Eugenia Carter of Elk River and Mark Scott Sr. of Fort Madison; and his granddaughter Lucia Wilcher (Mike) of Davenport. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
