She was predeceased by: her parents, Eston Eads and Mary Rhea Eads (Thrasher); her spouse Jackie Dean Smothers; her daughter Connie Coons; and her brothers, Samuel George Eads, Ray Wilson Eads (Janice) of Livingston, TN and John Wheeler Eads.
She is survived by: her children, Loretta Rice (Steve) of Logan, IL, Jack D. Smothers of Logan, IL and Lisa Morse (Zandle); her grandchildren, Tyler of Buncombe, IL, Melissa Coons, James Pense (Chrystal), Paula Coons Arpasi (Thomas), Daniel Rice and Chloe Morse; her great grandchildren, Kaven, Aubrie and Mia; and her sister Gena Clark (Jack) of Monroe, TN.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Logan Church of God and will be accepted at the church.
