With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carolyn Sue Marlow of Logan, Illinois, born in Mount Vernon, Illinois, who passed away on September 29, 2020 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parent Noel Arthur; and also, Logan and Cleo Marlow (Pasley). She is survived by: her children, Chris Marlow (Candace) of Bluford, Matt Marlow of Mount Vernon, Ashley Marlow and Larry Owens of Mount Vernon; her grandchildren, Zack Marlow of Bluford, Adalyn Owens of Mount Vernon and Jameson Owens of Mount Vernon; and also, Paul Marlow (Johnnie) of Carterville, Mike Marlow (Sue) of Texas and Rick Marlow (Jewell) of Mount Vernon. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Please remember to observe social distancing at this time. Following the CDC and NFDA regulations, we encourage everyone to wear a mask in the facility.

Memorials may be made in Logan and Carolyn's honor to Hopewell Cemetery.

“To Paul Edward, Mike and Rick: I was saddened to hear of the death of Logan Hall and Carolyn. I feel sure when they left home, they never thought they wouldn't be returning. I hate this for all of you. As a child, I went to the Little Liberty Church with them and both families. Carolyn and I are the same age. I also grew up in that same area. Glenda (Shelton)Chappell, the daughter of Floyd Shelton family.”
