He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Clauss and Nettie Clauss (Young); his siblings, Betty Feller Zimmerman, Vernon and Jerry Clauss; his brothers-in-law, Frank Beer, Wayne Wieland and Edward Feller, Jr.; and his nephew Keith Beer.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria Schroeder; his children, Erica Miller (Eric) of Fishers, IN and Corbenn Clauss (Kim) of Cissna Park, IL; his grandchildren, Cale, Kahne, Kloie Clauss, Eli and Evan Miller; his sisters, Lois Beer of Milford, IN, Erma Wieland of Peoria, IL, Caroline Sever of Bloomington, IL, Lorna Clauss of Champaign, IL and Dorothy Holmes (Don) of Hoopeston, IL; and his siblings-in-law, Stan, Chris Schroeder, Joanne Clauss and Karen Clauss. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
