He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Ward and Florence Ward (Young); his son Douglas Ward; and his siblings, James Ward, Evelyn Knutt, Martha Goodall and Melba Donaldson.
He is survived by: his wife Janet; his children, Bradley Ward (Julie) of Mahomet, IL., Jill Fessler (Scott) of Springfield, IL and Brent Ward (Jamie) of DeWitt, IL.; and his grandchildren, Jenna Ward, Braxton, Logan, Gannon Lanier, Max Fessler, Brock and Jaden Ward.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Loda United Methodist Church (200 S Locust St, Loda, IL 60948). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
