Richard C. Oltmanns Obituary
We bid farewell to Richard C. Oltmanns (Lockport, Illinois), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 14, 2024 at the age of 90. Richard touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his wife Donna; his parents, Raymond Oltmanns and Frances Oltmanns; his sister Ruth (Bill); his son Richard; his daughter-in-law Nancy; and his granddaughter Andrea.
He is survived by: his children, Merri Hauter, Jim, Dawn and Debbie Mellas; his daughter-in-law Kellie Nahas (Nick); his grandchildren, Jenn (John), Lisa (Jason), Becky, Dave, Jolene (Ryan), Nicole, Courtney (Drew), Mitchell, Andrew, Krisxan and Angela; and his pet Wrigley. He is also survived by great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews, and his favorite companion.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Hill Lutheran Church (925 E 9th St, Lockport, IL 60441). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
