He was predeceased by: his sons, Gary Darin and Brian Darin; his parents, John M. Darin and Louise Darin (Nee Pagnetto); his siblings, Joseph, Alfred Darin, Anna Darin and Lena Winkel (Al); and his siblings-in-law, Emma Miller (Nee Murphy), James Miller, Robert "Whitey" Miller, William Miller, Mary Darin (Joseph) and Patricia Darin (Alfred).
He is survived by: his wife Jean Darin (Nee Miller); his sons, William Darin (Robin) of East Peoria and Ronald Darin (Kim) of Wheaton; his grandchildren, Amy King (Rory), Ashley Messmer (Patrick), Michael Darin (Erika), Emily Miller (James), Stephanie Cohen Darin (Kimberly), Jonathan Darin (Courtney) and Ryan Darin; his great grandchildren, Haley, Grace, Jackson, McKenna, Aislyn, Olivia, Ava, Jack, Will, Duke, Piper and Violet; and his sisters-in-law, Jyme Miller of Florida, Vera Miller of Joliet and Carole Miller of Shorewood. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, other cherished family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Dennis Church, Lockport or Lightways Hospice, Joliet in Ray's name would be greatly appreciated.
