We are sad to announce that on January 11, 2025, at the age of 63, Norma Jean Dowjotas of Lockport, Illinois, born in Hazel Crest, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Bulthuis and Ruth Bulthuis (Nee Oostema); her sister Barbara Pauls; her nephew Brad Pauls; and her niece Brandi Pauls.
She is survived by: her husband Anthony "Tony" Dowjotas; her sons, Tony Dowjotas (Kristah Krueger), Joseph Dowjotas (Nikki Lopez) and John Dowjotas (Kimberly); her grandchildren, Vivian and Rylee Dowjotas; her siblings, Pamela Savona (Allen Schrof), Wayne Bulthuis (Donna), Richard Bulthuis, Brian Bulthuis (Jeanette), Donald Bulthuis (late Michelle) and John Bulthuis; her niece Brittany Brock (Nick); and her nephew Brian Pauls. She is also survived by nephews, nieces and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the O'Neil Funeral Home Chapel (1105 E 9th St, Lockport, IL 60441). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
