He was predeceased by: his father Gustave Israelson (Lena); and his siblings, Jean Sword (John), Juanita Gilkerson (Robert), Nona McClew (Thomas), Alan Israelson and Hope Marsh (Charles).

He is survived by: his wife Carol Israelson; his children, Debora Lathim (Mike), Gary Israelson (Sandra), Terri McGraw (Todd) and Brad Israelson; his sister Iris Chapp (late Leonard); his grandchildren, Ashley Salazar (Adam), Noel Ellis (David), Johna Yeager (Josh), Marrissa Edens (Dan), Gary, Alyssa Letsos (John), Ana Israelson, Michael McGraw, Matthew McGraw, Nathan McGraw and Nicholas Israelson; his great grandchildren, Emily, Jenna, Gabriel, Ethan and Logan; and his pet Cubbie. He is also survived by Papa to his many grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Anderson Memorial Home & Heartland Cremation Services (21131 W Renwick Rd, Plainfield, IL 60544). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
