It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Matthew R. Sefcik (Lockport, Illinois), who passed away on February 16, 2024, at the age of 31, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Matthew R. Sefcik to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his grandfather Raymond J. Sefcik; and his great-grandparents, Joseph, Wanda Sefcik and Nadine Findlay. He is survived by: his mother Kathy Jo Petersen (late Scott); his grandmother Kathleen Sefcik; his aunt Michelle Soszynski (Ray); his cousins, Lilian and Raymond Soszynski; his former wife Mandy; and his sons, Tyler, Eli, Oliver and Jonah. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins.
