It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Marilyn M. Singletary (Lockport, Illinois), who passed away on November 23, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Raymond J. Singletary; her parents, Edward F. Hiller and Laura Hiller; her sisters, Elda Arnhold (late John) and Velda Larson (late Harvey); and her nephew Keith Larson.
She is survived by: her children, Mark (Lorena Verdin) and Margo (Kevin Timm); her grandchildren, Milena, Marcos and Katherine; and her great grandchild Brady. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the O'Neil Funeral Home (1105 E 9th St, Lockport, IL 60441). The lying in state was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the St. Peter Lutheran Church (310 N Broadway St, Joliet, IL 60435). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 at the Woodlawn Memorial Park (23060 W Jefferson St, Joliet, IL 60431).
