He was predeceased by: his former wife Gwendolyn Tolbert; his parents, Henry Tolbert and Zella Tolbert; and his son Scott Tolbert (late Doreen). He is survived by: his wife Mildred Gibson Tolbert; and his sons, Richard Tolbert (Peggy), Les Tolbert (Carol) and Joel Tolbert (Suzette). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the O'Neil Funeral Home (1105 E 9th St, Lockport, IL 60441). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
