She was predeceased by: her husband Richard A. La Cien; and her parents, Dorothy Verde and Charles Lo Verde. She is survived by: her children, Mary Ellen Born (David), Richard La Cien (Laura), Gregory La Cien (Kim) and Brian La Cien (Bridget); her grandchildren, Brendan Harrison Born, Richard La Cien III, Gina Marie La Cien, Charles Richard La Cien, William Angelo "Liam" La Cien and Brian Edward La Cien; and her siblings, Dorothy Hickey (late Wilfred), James Lo Verde (Jean), Carol James (William), Charles Lo Verde (Marion), Geraldine Barman (Donald), Robert Lo Verde (late Geraldine), Mary Ellen Lo Verde and David Lo Verde (Cheryl).
Visitation was held on Sunday, May 19th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Panozzo Bros. Funeral Home (530 W 14th St, Chicago Heights, IL 60411). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, May 20th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the St Julie Billiart Church (7399 W 159th St, Tinley Park, IL 60477).
