She was predeceased by: her husband Clarence A. Hess; her parents, Elmer Curley and Lillian Curley (Nee Coombes); and her siblings, Richard Curley (Faye) and Mary Elgas.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Kallai (Larry Knipper) of Joliet, John Hess of Lockport, Bob Hess of Mesa, AZ., Greg Hess of Joliet, Jim Hess (Nicole) of Naperville and Sue Miller (Steve) of Batavia; her grandchildren, Maggie Martin (Mike), Thomas Kallai (Lindsey), Mia, Charlie Hess, Dan Miller, Jessy DeLine (Tom) and Julie Miller; her great grandchildren, Ian, Camden Martin, Molly, Ben, Connor Kallai, Haleigh and Olly DeLine; her son-in-law Tom Kallai; and her brother Jack Curley (late Marcella "Mickey"). She is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Kathleen's name to Lightways Hospice would be greatly appreciated.
