It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Tyler Krestel of Lockport, Illinois, born in Naperville, Illinois, who passed away on July 13, 2023, at the age of 23, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandmother Lois Graven. He is survived by: his parents, Kristin (Nee Graven) and JJ Krestel (Jennifer Cherney) of Lockport; his siblings, Lexi Krestel of Lockport and Ryan Krestel of Lockport; and his grandparents, Marvin Graven, John Edward Krestel and Nanette Krestel. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, many cousins, and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Krestel family, which will be donated to various local charities in Tyler's name would be greatly appreciated.
